- 1 cup butter (room temperature)
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2–½ cups cake flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder. Set aside.
- Blend butter and sugar together till light and fluffy.
- Add egg and continue mixing.
- Stir in flour mixture.
- Add almond extract and blend well.
- Chill dough for 2 – 3 hours.
- Then take out of refrigerator and let stand for 15 – 20 minutes.
- Fill cookie press using your favorite designs and press onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 8 – 10 minutes, just until edges begin to slightly brown.
